Carroll EMC Spring Agribusiness Seminar Focuses on Veteran Therapy


Carroll EMC hosted its spring Agribusiness Seminar April 8 at City Station. The bi-annual seminar is known for bringing together individuals and groups in the agricultural community from across the state. More than 200 farmers, National FFA Organization students, associations, business leaders and elected officials were represented and in attendance at the spring event.

Local Students Named Carroll EMC Delegates for Washington Youth Tour


Carroll Electric Membership Cooperative has selected Amelia Ayers of Carrollton, Isabella Marlow of Waco and Drew Mulcay of Cedartown to attend the 54th annual Washington Youth Tour. The trip is a once-in-a-lifetime leadership experience made possible through the generosity of the electric membership cooperatives (EMCs) in Georgia, including Carroll EMC.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution Names Carroll EMC a Winner of the Atlanta Top Workplaces 2019 Award


Carroll Electric Membership Cooperative has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2019 honor by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC, a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools. The anonymous survey measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few.

Carroll EMC Names Semifinalist for Walter Harrison Scholarship


Carroll Electric Membership Cooperative recently named Kaitlyn Patterson of Carrollton, as its semifinalist for the Walter Harrison Scholarship. The Walter Harrison Scholarship is a program sponsored by Georgia’s electric membership corporations. The $1,000 scholarship can be applied to academic expenses at any accredited two- or four-year university, college or vocational-technical institute in Georgia.
